Calibration 7 [Video | Seven Rules of Gaming]

Has anyone else noticed something a little... off today.

[Like the fact that he's got a lifebar at the bottom of the screen and there are some numbered tabs in the upper right corner, each with a picture representing one of Garrus's weapons or special abilities.]

I've also found myself, well, thinking long and hard before I say something. Yet I feel like what I have to say is kind of limited. Not only that, but some of the things that pop into my head are either very rude, very nice, or just neutral.

I think this place is starting to mess with me.

[OOC: Garrus is experiencing the player interface from Mass Effect 2, as well as his own personal dialogue wheel.]

[And she didn't watch the video, just listened so y'know, she doesn't actually know what you look like. Or what the curse looks like. Nor does she really want to...]

What's a curse?

Something I thought only existed in stories.

I don't know the exact details of how they work or why they affect us like they do, but apparently they're just random stuff that gets done to us. Like the other day when I could manipulate rocks.

.. this is a video feed, right?

Manipulate---

[She takes her device out of her pocket to stare at it incredulously and just kinda... freezes for a second before she can catch herself.]

Right. Curses. That makes no sense whatsoever, actually.

[She's obviously never seen a turian either.]

I know, but it seems that's how this world works. Trust me, I was skeptical too... Guess I still am a little.

Well, skeptical or not, you are the first person even remotely forthcoming with information.

[She's a lawyer. She has a good pokerface, so there's not even the slightest hesitation to show that she's not sure he's even a person. She'll withhold judgement on the trust part, though.]

It seems to me that's the norm around here.

What is, scepticism or withholding information?
