Yeah, exactly! A pan-dimensional nexus that just grabs random people and yanks them in here in a City that shouldn't exist and - scientifically speaking has very little reason to - for an undeterminable period of time, and then whoooosh they go away again! It's dumb. And impossible. And really, really fascinating.
