Calibration 29 [Accidental Video/Action]

[The screen is focused on Garrus, for the most part, who is sleeping. There also appears to be a human-sized lump next to him in his bed. He rolls over and opens his eyes, seeing a stranger next to him.]

Whoa!

[Garrus jerks up, accidentally bringing the man up with him thanks to the handcuffs he doesn't realize they're wearing. Said man is now awake thanks to the noise and sudden movement.]

Who are you? How did you get in?

[Then he sees the handcuffs.]

Oh, I've heard of this curse. But that still doesn't get out of you explaining who you are.

[OOC: Garrus and Jack Harkness are attached for the weekend. Action for Jack, of course. Also, Jack-mun, would've written Jack some dialogue in but I was too afraid of getting him wrong. Only recently started watching Doctor Who again and haven't even touched Torchwood yet. ^^;; ]

Anything dextro-friendly, really. Come on. [Yanks on the chain lightly to get Jack to follow him to the kitchen.] There's crackers and canned fruit in the cupboard.

[Garrus gets a can of peaches from the cupboard, then goes to the fridge to get something that probably doesn't look the least bit appetizing to a human.]

You don't seem that surprised to meet someone who's not human.

[Digs around with his free hand for the can opener.]

I'm not. I deal with beings that aren't human on a daily basis. Some of the people I care most about aren't human.

You could say....that I'm 'species blind'.

[He starts opening the can.]

I'm the same way, working with lots of different species and being friends with them. The one I care about most is even a human.

[Finishes opening the can and gets a couple of forks out, sticking one in the can and the other in his own food.]
